Ok, so I just replaced the entire timing set (phasers, chains, sprocket, tensioners ect) on my 2004 f150 5.4l about a month ago. Another common problem that causes engine vibration and nasty shaking is a poorly adjusted fuel intake system. I also checked to make sure the vacuum line was still connected on the back of the intake manifold, I have found nothing leaking.I also had cleaned the throttle body and changed the throttle position sensor.Repairs within the last 6 months or less...8. I haven't gone to get it looked at and I want to see if it's I have run several gas system cleaners through the truck.
